Retailers Association’s Skill Council of India (RASCI) is a company registered under section 8 of companies act 2013 as not for profit Company recognized by the National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) as an awarding body, supported by retail industry leaders and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to function as the apex skill development, standard setting & awarding/ certifying body for short term and long- term education and skilling initiatives across academic and vocational institutions for the retail industry and its sub-sectors.
RASCI wishes to appoint Chief Executive Officer, based at Mumbai.

Competencies expected from the candidate would be People management skills, Analytical Skills, Domain Expertise, Industry knowledge of Retail business in India, Strategic thinking, Effective decision making, Team work, People management skills.

Major functions of the CEO would be to lead the Council to achieve the desired goals, as set by the Board of Directors and the Annual Business Plan, as set by the NSDC. The incumbent would also be required to work as per the Protocols, set by the regulator National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET)

The incumbent should have minimum educational qualification of Post Graduation such as an MBA or Chartered Accountancy and should have a minimum experience of at least 15 years in consumer facing (B2C) Retail Industry, out of which at least 6 years must be of CXO position. 5 years skilling experience is mandatory. Post graduation degree in HR would be of an added advantage. The maximum age limit for CEO positions is 60 years.
